Hello to the list:

I've been using MJ-1.9x for years, but the one thing I have yet to be able
to automate is some way to delete bad addresses in bulk.

The lists have several thousand members each and as most know from
experience, folks change emails like their socks and don't remove
themselves. Thus, when we do a customer mailing, several dozen or hundred
may be bad. I can collect them by list just fine, but removing them one by
one is not the answer.

After a mailing, I have succeeded in running scripts with "sort", "diffs"
and "uniq" and can wind up with a clean list of the bads that need
deletion. I haven't found a way yet to just wind up with just the "goods"
though. Just beyond the reach of my scripting ability I guess.

Does anyone have any such working scripts that will delete bad addresses in
bulk?

Any help appreciated.

PS: Hi, Dan....

Happy trails,
