Subject: bulk_mailer and sendmail settings for large lists

I have been reading through the archives and am not sure what settings we
should use in sendmail to work with larger majordomo lists being sent out
through bulk_mailer. For example, some lists have a few thousand addresses
@aol, yahoo, hotmail, etc...

From what I've read, there are 3 settings that can be adjusted to make
these mailings go out smoothly and not get rejected by the destination or
sendmail itself when sending:

SMTP_MAILER_MAXMSGS
SMTP_MAILER_MAXRCPTS
MaxRecipientsPerMessage

Which ones of the above list should be set, what are the recommended
values, and does MaxRecipientsPerMessage being too low actually stop a
mailing from going out (or any of the above settings)? With bulk_mailer
putting like domains together, some envelopes seem to have hundreds or
1000's of addresses. We have tweaked MaxRecipientsPerMessage before, but I
was never sure how best to optimize sendmail with bulk_mailer to handle
both large and small lists, and large lists with large numbers of
subscribers all from the same domain.

Thanks.

Rob
