I am not aware of what webmin does to manage majordomo, but I can provide
information for changing the default domain or per list resend_host info.

 From the shell prompt in putty, you want/need to edit majordomo.cf to
match your domainname.

$whereami = "liste@mydomain.de";

In your individual listname.config files, it would look like this;

resend_host         =   liste@mydomain.de

The majordomo.pl script itself contains the welcome message text.
There have been others that have localized this text in other
languages than english.  You might google search on
+majordomo +welcome +language
