Pete-
Thank you for your reply. I guess I'm confused as to where this entry:

>>majordomo: '|/path/to/wrapper majordomo' for the above to work
>>majordomo-owner: your_email_address

should go. Should it be entered in sendmail aliases (i.e.
/etc/mail/aliases), majordomo aliases (i.e.
/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.5/majordomo.aliases) or both?

James,

Testing a list is as simple as sending a message to
listname@whateverdomain.com in the same manner as you sent a message
to this list.

If you want to see if the main majordomo alias is correct send a
massage to majordomo@whateverdomain.com with the word help in the
BODY of the message.

In your aliases file you should have an entry
majordomo: '|/path/to/wrapper majordomo' for the above to work
majordomo-owner: your_email_address

To setup an actual list requires you have all the appropriate
aliases
set up for that list so sendmail can interpret them.

Regards,
Pete
