Hi,
I have two installs of Majordomo on "shared" virtual hosting accounts. Both
are running version 1.94.5. Let's say I have a list of 100 addresses. On the
list, 25 addresses are to user@domain.com, where domain.com is the same
domain--lets say hotmail.com. The next 25 addresses are to user@domain.com,
where domain.com is aol.com. The other 50 are to random hostnames.
The difference between the two systems is that on one, each majordomo
generated mail sends on a 1:1 basis, that is, if I mail from joe@domain.com,
it will be this in the maillogs:
FROM: joe@domain.com to frank@msn.com
FROM: joe@domain.com to bob@msn.com
FROM: joe@domain.com to mike@msn.com
On the other system though, I get this:
FROM: joe@domain.com to frank@msn.com,bob@msn.com,mike@msn.com
...with all mail to the one host sent out in one envelope. The problem is
that this is causing some receiving ISPs to reject the mail with a "552 Too
many recipients" message. I want both to break up the delivery on the
individual 1:1 basis. What controls this in the majordomo install? If needed
I have access to the majordomo.cf on each machine as well as sendmail.cf.
Regards,
Joe
