Look at this portion of your <listname>.config file...

>         # subscribe_policy
>         # [enum] (open+confirm) <majordomo> /open;closed;auto;open+confirm
>         # One of three values: open, closed, auto; plus an optional
>         # modifier: '+confirm'.  Open allows people to _subscribe_ themselves

Only a policy of "closed" requires your approval.  The only place the
backlog of approvals exists is in the (moderator|owner)'s email.

Read the list-owner-info file from the majordomo bundle to see how to
display a list of current list members.
