Robert,
Aliases that use the :include: directive only work when pointed to
a "file", not a directory. From a sendmail alias perspective, all
included files must pre-exist. From a delivery perspective, such
as during an archive activity, sendmail will create the file for
you. In this case, the alias will not have the :include: before
the name of the file.
