Assuming you want this information in general, and not specifically
for the list you wrote the message to, and also assuming the list
you want to be removed from is managed by majordomo software;
Try sending a message with a blank subject line to majordomo at the
domain hosting the list you are subscribed to. In the body of the
email should be just one line of content;
unzubscribe name_of_list_goes_here
Where the z in unzubscribe is replaced with an s. If I use the
actual command in this email, it would be administratively bounced.
name__of_list_goes_here gets replaced with the name of the list you
are trying to remove yourself from.
If you are not using the same address you used when you became a
member of the list, you have to add one more piece of information
to your unsubscribe command, the email address you wish to remove.
To leave the majordomo-users list, the command would look like;
unsubscribe majordomo-users
or from an alternate address like this;
unsubscribe majordomo-users myold-email@myold.domain
Dan Liston
BTW, This information is on the majordomo site and can be found
with two google keywords, majordomo & unsubscribe.
