I use StripMime (available at
http://www.phred.org/~alex/stripmime.html). It's
easy to set up, very handy and it converts HTML
only e-mails to plain text e-mails. I only have
two problems with it so far:

1. It isn't able to convert HTML only e-mails to
plain text e-mails if the encoding is something
else than us-ascii. (Major drawback for use in
non-english lists.)

2. It doesn't detect uu-encoded files that are
sent inline. Some of my users have PegasusMail
and use uu-encoding/embedding inline without a
proper multipart header.
