 net (underscore to dot) the problem was fixed. It's strange the system isn't able to recover from such an error and it isn't able to ignore the false e-mail address. I haven't got any alert messages either that there was an invalid e-mail address.

You may want to persuade your ISP to apply this simple patch:

 ftp://ftp.ccsf.org/majordomo-patches/1.94.5/validate_ @

Majordomo shouldn't permit you to subscribe invalid email addresses to the
list.
