Spurious Rejects?

Have a problem on a list with valid emails getting rejected. Here user is a 
list member entry:

	b###l @
th###ai###ll .
com,

BUT, even though the From address matches, the email is getting rejected:

Subject: BOUNCE aaaa_members @
ccsl .
org:    Non-member submission from 
["Brian ###l" <b###l @
th###ain###l .
com>]

The message DID originate from a foreign MTA (Yahoo in this case), .. but 
the From is correct:

Why is this email getting rejected? Does MD 1.94.5 filter on something 
other than the From? How can I get MD to allow these valid emails?
