digests: finally working!

I don't know what i did but that command to test the digest or put in the 
cron table does absolutely nothing except echo back what you tell it and 
emails it, i.e the line that says "echo mkdigest <blah blah blah | mail 
person @
server .
name", for one thing, i have absolutely no mkdigest command 
but i set my digest config to a small enough size to show me that digest 
of the list works
now onto bigger and better things, making "real" lists
