majordomo and MySQL

Hello folks,

Is there any way to 'attach' a mailinglist to an SQL database containing the 
e-mail adresses?

Today I have a script on one host that extract the e-mail adresses from a 
MySQL database and copy the files to the majordomo/Lists directory.

The script extract two files - one that is used to tell who is allowed to post 
to the list and one file that is the list itself.
