If you can use sendmail's FEATURE(compat_check) then you can dropincoming messages from this user to the list without altering anymajordomo configuration. You can even decide whether the user getsnotified of the rejection or not. Just edit /etc/mail/access:


Compat:bad @
user .
com<@>list @
good .
com ERROR:"550 You cannot email this list"

or

Compat:bad @
user .
com<@>list @
good .
com DISCARD
