You should be rejecting spam before it hits Majordomo...

I do reject for an average of 7000 spams a day, but a few get through. If
yours is 100% perfect, please tell me how to do that "100% no false
positive/negative spam reduction".

My rejection rate is between 20k-30k per day...and I'm just a little guy. Most of that by my netblock blocking (see previous post), tho. I don't have any reason to accept any email from Korea or the Ukraine or Iran, so I just don't. I use simscan to manage spam and virus checking.

For those who need to leave the help on for users, that's why I specified
people NOT ON THE LIST.

I might try eliminating majordomo@ and reconfigure everything else for that
but it is used for so many things, that's a whole "retrain the user" again.

Yeah. That would be a problem if you have a lot of users who actually "talk" to majordomo. I made my switch when setting up MJ for customers at their domains, so it was transparent to them.

It seams majordomo is getting to the end of its life. Maybe time to switch
to Google Groups. Seems to be able to configure to work similar to MJ.
Anybody go through changing over a list to Google Groups?

Thanks,
Bob Abbott

I agree with Julian. Look for another list server to install. Besides mailman, there's ezmlm, and listserv (not free?). There's a Yahoo group I work with that doesn't work very well 'cause we don't have good control. Would still have to retrain the users, tho.

Sean
