You get more than just that, don't you? It should at least echo the line it's reading back to you. Most likely it's reading all of the HTML and MIME crap that you're sending out and getting confused. Majordomo 1.9x doesn't handle MIME at all. Majordomo2 does. If you want to talk to Majordomo1 servers, you'll have to turn off the HTML stuff. - J< From majordomo-workers-owner@greatcircle.com Sat Dec 22 13:16:03 2001 Received: from mail9.bigmailbox.com (mail9.bigmailbox.com [209.132.220.40]) by mycroft.greatcircle.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id 5AE3C2CB39; Sat, 22 Dec 2001 13:15:54 -0800 (PST) Received: (from www@localhost) by mail9.bigmailbox.com (8.10.0/8.10.0) id fBMLFm228491; Sat, 22 Dec 2001 13:15:48 -0800 Date: Sat, 22 Dec 2001 13:15:48 -0800 Message-Id: <200112222115.fBMLFm228491@mail9.bigmailbox.com> Content-Type: text/plain Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: binary X-Mailer: MIME-tools 4.104 (Entity 4.116) Mime-Version: 1.0 X-Originating-Ip: [209.240.222.131] From: "tech support" To: undisclosed_recipients@drunkmail.com Subject: Happy Holidays X-Archive-Number: 200112/1 X-Sequence-Number: 1 Have a safe and happy holiday season. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ Weedmail.com free email Click - http://weedmail.com Weedmail.com free offers Click - http://weedmail.com/1.htm From majordomo-workers-owner@greatcircle.com Sat Dec 22 22:35:38 2001 Received: from scifi.squawk.com (glock.squawk.com [208.176.124.157]) by mycroft.greatcircle.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id ADC362CC05 for ; Sat, 22 Dec 2001 22:35:35 -0800 (PST) Received: from toshiba.scifi.squawk.com (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by scifi.squawk.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id B14893502A for ; Sun, 23 Dec 2001 01:35:33 -0500 (EST) X-America-Has-Resolve: yes X-Message-Flag: Microsoft Outlook is insecure. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made so by the exertions of better men than himself. -- John Stuart Mill Nick Simicich - njs@scifi.squawk.com
