Perl has been ported to Windows NT (actually 2 separate ports by 2
different folks that didn't know the other person was doing it).
i'm trying to find out if sendmail has been (or is being) ported. in
addition to UNIX-like mail things like sendmail, Windows NT has
Microsoft Mail built into it, and there are MAPI-based calls you can
make to do this. (this is probably not immediately relavent to
Majordomo port, but more to a sendmail (or equivalent port), whether
they choose to use the MAPI interface or an interface that goes
through WinSock.
thanks for the info, i guess i might be back in touch once i find
a working sendmail/equivalent...

| As far as I've heard, nobody has done it. The main prerequisite
| is a decent port of Larry Wall's "perl" language, plus a system
| mailer with a command line interface close to sendmail. I'm sure
| that if Perl hasn't been ported yet, it probably will be soon, but
| it would need to be closer to the Unix version than the MS-Dos
| version to be useful. I wouldn't hold my breath on the mailer,
| though.
