File getting and massaging on the fly.

Is anybody interested in adding on the fly file manipulation to
majordomo. I was thinking of something along the lines of:

  have the file      want the file		majordomo does:

  std_slide.ps       std_slide.ps.Z.uue	 compress followed by uuencode
  std_slide.ps       std_slide.ps.Z	 (no binary files via email)
  std_slide.ps       std_slide.ps.gz.uue gzip followed by uuencode
  std_slide.ps.Z     std_slide.ps.Z.uue	 uuencode
  std_slide.ps.Z     std_slide.ps	 uncompress
  std_slide.ps.Z.uue std_slide.ps	 uudecode, uncompress

I am looking at the wuarchive ftpd as an example. Is anybody
interested in writing a spec for specifying file patterns/actions? I
think this would best be handled as a separate program from majordomo
that would be called when get can't file the file that was requested.
