Subject: More private lists.

Currently, lists seem to be either open to all or `private' to the members
of the list. I have a list for which the owner does not wish to allow a
`who' command even for members of the list. As far as I can see there is
no support for such a feature in the source.

Now, I am about to implement such a feature for 1.93. However, before I
get stuck in has anyone implemented such a feature. Also, does 2.0
support a similar feature; assuming so then it seems reasonable to make
it as compatible as possible.

Assuming that there is no proposal, then there seem to be two obvious
options. Either the private_<cmd> syntax could be enhanced to allow
`yes,no,member' or a new variable `disable_<cmd>' could be created.
Personally, I prefer the former as it seems more intutive.

Also, is it possible to get hold of the 2.0 specification? I would be
interested in where majordomo is going (and how long it is going to take
to get there 8)).

Andy (a newbie)
