I have some homegrown perl scripts also and combine it with a procmail
script in the majordom account. I use the strategy of having the form
output which is mailed to majordom forwarded to me by procmail where I
visually check it (my script checks for and rejects the obvious) and
bounce it back to majordom. This time procmail pipes it to a perl script
that does everything except create the sendmail aliases (I don't have the
privs). Those are made into an email request to root to create them.
I also have a perl script that filters PMDF mailserv list memberships
(use send/list) and creates a md list file out of it for porting lists.
If you don't know and use perl, you are probably making life harder for
yourself :-)
