this is the second post of this. i never saw it bounce back, so it must
have been eaten somewhere.
i have implemented some changes to add a new subscribe_policy i'm calling
"confirm". basically any subscribe must be authenticated with a checksum
value that is different for each list, subscriber, command, and site (via
a value in majordomo.cf). if an unauthenticated subscribe comes in, the
value is calculated and sent back to the subscriber (not the requester).
this is designed to stop the subscribe spammers.
the code makes up about 250 lines of diffs. to see how it works, try to
subscribe to joey-l via majordomo@teleport.com. any suggestions or comments
would be appreciated.
