Subject: Subscribing list to itself.

I've just been bitten for the second time in two months with one of our
lists being subscribed to itself, and was wondering if this was fixed in
MJ 1.94? (This would also be fixed by trapping looping messages, but that
isn't available yet.)

The list affected was an "open" list, however, the list owner hadn't approved
the address, rather it had slipped through in a different way. The subscriber
had sent a line of the form:

subscribe listname [<listname>] [<name@domain>]

Note: they had included the characters "[<>]" literally.

As "name@domain" matched their address, the whole line was added to the list
thus subscribing both him and the list at the sametime.

I guess my questions are:
	a) has anything been done to stop the list being subscribed to itself,
	b) has anything been done to stop subscribing multiple addresses on
	   the one line?

I'm currently running MJ 1.93, Sendmail 8.7.5 on a SparcStation 5 running
Solaris 2.5, if any of the details matter.
