The goal is to eventually replace the administrivia checks with the taboo_*
stuff in the per-list config file and global_taboo_* stuff in the main
majordomo.cf file. As it stands right now, I think the only thing the
administrivia filters do that the taboo_* stuff doesn't is limit certain
checks to the first 5 lines of code. You could probably do that with the
taboo_* stuff as well; I just haven't poked at it to figure out exactly how
yet.
