I've been getting the following message (error 255) when someone tries to
subscribe to one of our mailing lists. I've also been getting a related
message when anyone sends a message to any list...the message with the
lists is associated with being unable to open majordomo.cf in the line:
eval(`cat $cf`) || die "eval of majordomo.cf failed $@";
or at least that's what it looks like from using the debugger in perl.
These lists were just working last week, so I have no idea why they
suddenly stopped working. It might have had to do with a software
installation I did of a web program called comopro...but I think I
corrected anything that the program moved around.
I'm running Majordomo 1.93 and Perl 5.002. I appreciate any help you all
can give me.
Here is the message I get:
From: Mail Delivery Subsystem <MAILER-DAEMON@mecca.mecca.org>
To: owner-majordomo@mecca.mecca.org
Subject: Returned mail: unknown mailer error 255
----- Transcript of session follows -----

554 "|/usr/local/majordom/bin/wrapper majordomo"... unknown mailer error

TIA,
Cardell
