Just to let everyone know, Jason's patches work great for me and I
really like the way you can specify a separate mailer for resend to
use when sending the mail out. What I did was shove in bulk_mailer as
the mailer which allowed me to get rid of the extra -outgoing aliases.
Among the lists in question is one that is close on 20K users so we
have given the patches a good run through :-)
