You'll have to provide more context here.  If by "expansion" you mean "eval
to expand embedded variables" then I can understand the problem, because
that's a security hole.  (And I'm sure you know that, so it must be
something else.)

All of these things on my list are gleaned from many, many requests on
majordomo-users and personally to me.  They all fill gaps in the
functionality; you just can't do these things without hacking the source
(except for the :include: part, which you could do with cut and paste,
which is why it's at the end of my list).
