Hmmm. Well, they're everywhere now, and the features I was talking about
are purely optional. (Yours probably were too.) I just don't see how you
can do any kind of exclusion or limiting without using regexps. Any
problems in this area should be corrected by enhancing the documentation,
which I did a little of with that jumbo patch.
