A fresh install of beta 3 worked for me on Solaris 2.5 (after the simple
fixes I sent in). However I did the complete install as root, not just
install-wrapper (I do not think it works correctly unless you do so, and
the INSTALL file should be changed as such).
Otherwise is seems fine.
