You can put nothing in the address list except for addresses.  Now,
addresses have a certain format which is complicated but well defined.  You
can get the basic gist of how addresses are made up by looking at the To:
and CC: headers of this message.  There are two basic formats:

user@host.com (Comment)
Comment <user@host.com>

There are many more allowed addresses, but the above are the most useful.
for the purpose of an address list, the former is probably the best.  from
a readability standpoint, the latter is probably preferred.  Use what you
like; your MTA won't care.

In any case, this really isn't a Majordomo issue.  If you really want to
know the complete specification for addresses, look at
