I split 1.95 from 1.94 when beta1 came out.  I ended up not actually
working on it much because it was a pain keeping both branches in sync.
(I'm not terribly CVS fluent, but getting better.)

All of the sources are in a CVS tree, though (and have been since versions
long forgotten).  I'm more than willing to host a networked CVS tree if we
decide that's how we want to do development.  I'm also willing to
coordinate patches and releases, but that's Chan's job and I have no
interest in usurping him.
