What version of Majordomo?
If you look at the 1.94 source, you'll see that -outgoing is only hardcoded
if you don't specify it in the mkdigest command. This is documented.

If you're confident enough to modify the source, why don't you read just
three lines above that (assuming 1.94) where you'll see that that's only
the default.

How about in list-owner-info:
mkdigest <digest list name> <password>
mkdigest <digest list name> <digest outgoing alias> <password>
Generate a digest immediately without waiting to reach the
maxlength given in the config file. The first form will cause the
digest to be sent to an alias found by appending "-outgoing" to the
digest list name. Because this can be a security concern, the
second form allows specification of the name of the alias that the
outgoing digest will be sent to.
Hopefully that's enough.
