As the author already said, you use sequencer in place of resend.  The
problem is that sequencer doesn't support more recent 1.94 features, since
it is an outgrowth of 1.93 resend (or at least it seemed so).

One of my plans is to integrate the sequencer changes back into resend for
a future version.  Why the author didn't just supply a patch is beyond me.
