Arg, I feel rather stupid now :-)  I'll have to dig up the archives.

What I've done to try to partially fix the problem is to do a simple 
pattern match for /postmaster/i and /mailer-daemon/i in the $reply_to 
before sendmail is executed from majordomo.  If it matches, a log entry 
is made and majordomo just exit(0)'s.  That seems to have solved the 
problem of postmaster mail bouncing, but I still have those vacation 
program idiots...
