Statistics about the number of times a list is used

Does any current version of majordomo have code builtin to the
resend script which would log the sending of a message through  a
particular list? 

If not, could I suggest such a feature in the next release of majordomo?
It could serve two purposes. 1) It allows the majordomo owner to determine
if a list is still to be maintained and 2) provide usage numbers for
management.
