I posted the following note yesterday concerning the gathering of data
in regards to majordomo list usage.

I am very interested in gathering statistics which would tell me the
number of times a certain list was being used. Each time a message
is sent to the list address and the message mailed out to the list, the
event would be recorded into a log with a time stamp and the name of the
list being accessed. The system administrator can than use that log to
determine the number of times a particular list was used over a period of
time. I am not interested in the number of messages sent during one transaction
since that could be determined by counting the number of entries in the file.

If this statistic is not something which Majordomo should provide, could
sendmail be configured to provide this information?

Thanks
