Subject: approve PASSWORD which ???

Another thread has lead to me just noticing this...

There is code in place in majordomo 1.94 to deal with

  approve password which

Clearly this won't work because sub do_approve insists on a
valid list name as the fourth argument. With which this is either
blank or the name of a subscriber.

Both do_approve and do_which have code referring to this command.

Actually it's not a very useful command since only the list
maintainer would use it and presumably they could always do
approve password who listname - though more bandwidth wasting.

I noticed this because I was adding a feature to deal with a global
password that would allow

  approve password unsubscribe * whoever

to work. This also fails because the fourth arg is not a valid
listname.

Would code to correct the "approve password which" problem count
as a patch or new feature?

Nick
