I'll have to rerun my torture test again, which bombards a list with a few
thousand subscribe requests.  I recall that I actually got a few of those
warnings, and that things continued even with the warnings.  If this is
correct (I'll use the holiday to test) then an abort there would prevent
some legitimate operation.  I'd consider this a bad thing.

Damn, shlock is a pain.
