I vote 'yes' as well. My experiences with the current 'newconfig' method
are quite bad. The listowners who try to configure their lists usually get
lots of error messages from Majordomo because of the wrapped lines etc.
Also, several listowners on my server 'lists.oulu.fi' have usually tried
to change only one setting at a time and tampering with the whole config
file for that purpose makes one feel insecure. I have usually been
compelled to edit the config files by hand.
I think this new method of changing per list settings would be an
excellent improvement to the current flexibility the majordomo code
offers. The suggestion seen in the quoted part of this message should be
taken seriously, IMHO.
