"--" is the "standard" end of text indicator. I put "standard" in quotes
because there isn't really a standard. But news programs like "rn" and
other mail programs use "--" before including a signature file. Thus
Majordomo was written to ignore any "commands" following "--", since they
are usually signatures, not commands.
I don't think Majordomo should be changed. I don't know what to say
about procmail, though. How about: "Bummer, dude".
