Subject: Majordomo bug
From: Lee Kozar <kozar @ stanford . edu>
Date: Fri, 3 Oct 1997 12:36:04 -0700 (PDT)
To: majordomo-workers @ greatcircle . com
Cc: mpmw @ cmgm . Stanford . EDU

Here's the scenario

Solaris 2.5
Sendmail 8.8.5
Majordomo 1.94.3

Several mailing lists, all starting with the same text

  test1, test2..... testN

If you send to one mailing list, and one of the addresses is bogus
but has the form

   smith@computer.net@computer2.edu

Then, everyone on the list will receive N copies of the same message.

I'm not sure if "computer2" has to be the majordomo server or not,
it just happens that at our site, it is.
