What is a make config file? Do you mean the output of a 'config' command?

You'll have to wait a while; Majordomo 2 isn't even in the alpha stage yet,
much less anywhere near beta. The variables are settable individually
(you don't have to pull down the whole file) and several variables have a
more complex structure. A large number of the old variables are still
around for the sake of backwards compatibility.
If you want to see a list and description of the Mj2 config variables,
download the distribution and look in lib/mj_cf_data.pl.
