If the system equates the address you're posting as and the address you're
zubscribed as, the lists command (in extended mode; this may not be the
default) will tell you what lists you're subscribed to.  This is equivalent
to Oliver's extended lists patch for 1.94.x.  It only indicates a
subscription; if you want detail, use the 'show' command, which tells you
everything it knows about an address' relationship to a list.

Yes.  The extended lists command passes back a flag saying that this user
is subscribed.  The solution is to deny extended lists commands coning form
the web interface, if this annoys you.  Easy to do with the access control
language.
