My $.02 worth... I concur that the agreement was that no new features
would be introduced into the 1.xx line, just bug fixes. Note that the
agreement does not preclude distributing unofficial patches to any
release version to add such features. Patches, of both types, are
collected and distributed at ftp://sol.ccsf.cc.ca.us/.
I was going to say that none of the bugs patched in 1.94.4 threaten
security, but in reviewing them there is one little syslog security
patch. However, it's been said before, a new release is up to Chan since
he's the one that'll do the work.
