(Well, my Japanese is horrible but it's hard to practise with no Japanese
speakers about.) Please don't assume that all Americans know is English.
I don't know of any language that has more various shades of formality than
Japanese, so I can grasp the concept quite well.

I still stand as before. In any case, this can all be obtained easily by
changing the search list and doesn't require any odd configuration
settings. If you want to make an informal set, I'll just put them in
files/stock/informal/de.
