We're probably nearing the limits of my socket programming knowledge, and I'm
definitely nearing the limit of the amount of time I can spend for this week
on an "on-the-side" software installation like Majordomo II. So if you're
willing to wait about a week, I can see what I can come up with, but if you
want to get something before then, it might be best if you wrote the test
code; if you do, I'll make some time to try it out.
