Well, I finally tried installed the Alpha1 snapshot Jason made available
(Majordomo-0.1199805030; I don't have CVS setup on my list server).
Installation went fairly smoothly, although I needed to install a bunch of the
modules it wanted (and Perl 5.004_04 along the way). (One cosmetic bug:
there's a typo in the instructions the installer prints about how to create a
list; Makefile.PL line 522 should reference "createlist", not "creatlist").
Once I successfully created a list, however, I couldn't seem to subscribe
myself using mj_shell. I got the following errors:
bash$ mj_shell -p statutory913 -d avnet.org subscribe mj2-test

It's entirely possible my Perl installation is screwed-up, since I had a few
false starts in upgrading it, so there might be some old modules lying around.
So if this isn't a Majordomo problem, my apologies in advance (but I could
certainly use a pointer as to what particular part of Perl is hosed so I don't
have to reinstall the whole thing if possible).
Thanks, and especially to Jason, keep up the good work.
