Since we last discussed the lack of a good PGP module here, I have
become aware of the GnuPG project, see

http://www.d.shuttle.de/isil/crypt/gnupg.html

While GnuPG still has some annoying bugs, it seems to be making good
progress, and I think if someone outside the US has some free time and a
strong interest in getting good crypto support included in Majordomo, it
would be a good idea to interface the GnuPG code to Perl so that it can
be used as a Perl extension module.

BTW, Sen <sen_ml@eccosys.com> said on the g10 mailing list that he and
Fred Lindberg have discussed making a mailing list use pgp/gpg, and some
of the results of this discussion are posted at

http://www.htp.org/~sen/design/cipherml.html
