Are you using this command?
configset GLOBAL whoami = name@domain.org
Look at whereami also.

Just whacked on the help file for this yesterday...
If "createlist-regen" is used, all other options and arguments are ignored.
A complete list of suggested MTA configurations for the site and each list
is displayed. This will be required after changing "configset debug".
More info is available in "help createlist" - there is a bug in the
sendmail aliases, but it's easy to fix and the help file mentions it.
