Majordomo 1.94.4 simply does not support MIME in any way (except for
ignoring it completely). This means that fronters and footers show up in
the preamble and epilogue (respectively) of MIME multipart messages.

The development version supports attaching the fronters and footers to
multipart messages. For single part, text/plain messages it will place
them in the body as it does now (unless you say explicitly that you want
them attached anyway).

The development version is not finished but we welcome all testers. More
information is at http://www.hpc.uh.edu/majordomo/.
