This is a bug in Perl (or RedHat's installation thereof). I'm not sure how
to handle this.

Weird; it queued the message but couldn't get a lock on
$::TMPDIR/mj_queueserv.lock (which is locked only when mj_enqueue can't
talk to the server socket and so is starting up the server). Does this
file exist? Is there another process running that has a lock on it? It
is possible that there's a deadlock condition somewhere; I know this can
happen when mj_queuerun fails to compile but I've never seen it happen in
normal usage.
Also be sure to check the debug logs in $::TMPDIR.
